I found the base for the boots on eBay :3
and btw, it's nice
I had a black boot as a base, and then made them silver, and add all the details on top with various types of foam and hot glue
I used a combination of EVA and craft foam for these.
EVA foam is what I used to make the majority of my armor, and it's just like craft foam but on a larger scale. It's 1/2 thick and very light weight. You have to heat it in the oven to mold it, but once it dries it stays that shape forever!
It's a good armor alternative for wonderflex of worbla. I'd love to try those out but at $45 and $38 for piece (not big enough for my whole armor project) it was just too expensive this time around. Maybe I will try them if I ever cosplay dark magician girl? And have a better job xDD
