Hey all!

I'm trying to decide on some major cosplays for PAX. I know I will re-wear TP:Zelda for sure, but I need one other costume =]
A group of friends and I were thinking of doing a League of Legends lady-group since there will be a biiiiiiggg LoL tournament going on, but I need some input!

Personally I'm partial to Lux's normal skin but the other girls in the group are going as High Command Katarina ([link] and Free Horde Ashe ([link] so I want to make sure we have good variation between the three of us and I'm afraid Lux's normal skin might be too similar to Ashe's outfit.

Oh my goodness! You guys! Do you know what happened?

Well, last night I went to sleep...just like normal.
And then, this morning I woke up! (believe it or not)

AND THEN. Things exploded!

At first, I thought that my deviantArt had glitched or something. I was so confused. But after I realized what happened I was absolutely speechless!

I got a DD? @n@ No way! The thought has never even crossed my mind!
It is such an honor! ^w^ I can't tell you all how excited, flattered, and just honored I am!

I've been thinking about cosplay so much I can't concentrate! >u<

I can't contain my excitement!
I'm going to start working on some new cosplays soon @w@ I just received one of the new wigs I ordered in the mail and the other should be here soon enough as well. I have two "major" cosplays lined up to start on in the next few months and a jumble of smaller more minor cosplays I'd love to make as well!

I was just curious though,

are there any cosplays people would like to see? Like, any particular characters or characters people think I might look like?

I'm trying to get a good cosplay portfolio set up so any suggestions would be really helpful! 8D
At the moment, I'm kind of going on a Legend of Zelda binge so expect to see a couple more cosplays from the Zelda series in the near future 8P
Aside from that though, any thoughts?

Hey guys!

First off, I want to say thank you to all the people who have given me a favorite or a watch in the last few days n.n I really appreciate it!
It makes me so happy to know that people enjoy the cosplays I have so far~

I also want to tell you all something!
I made a page on facebook for myself. Well, it's under my name "RikkuGrape" but I aim for the site to be a place for all my cosplayer friends to show off their stuff, and the works of others without the worry of what others may think. I could go on an on about this but in a nut-shell it just makes me sad when people make fun of, or think someone is weird for cosplaying. So, my hope is that this page can be a positive place for people to show off what they have worked so hard on :3

So, SakuraCon is coming up in just two weeks!

In an effort to help keep my excitement contained and distract myself from all the work I have left to do I thought I'd make a little "journal entry-o-fun".

SO! Here it goes!
It's time to spill the beans.
*What is the best/funniest/most embarrassing/totally random con story that you have?*

Lots of things happen at conventions both silly, and fantastic so if you have any good stories now's the time to share them!

As an example, I'll share a funny one for you:

A few years ago at KumoriCon a group of my friends and myself were waiting in line to go to the masquerade. One of my friends forgot her mask in her car and wanted to go out and get it, however we had been standing in line for about and hour so she was afraid that if she left people would get mad when she tried to come back to her spot. In order to avoid catastrophe she decided to ask a staff member if it was alright that she left. She spotted someone with an official-looking badge so she went up to them and said, "Excuse me, I have a question."
The person promptly turned to her and said, "Um...yes? What is it?"
She proceeded to tell them that she really needed to leave the line because, well, it was her "time of the month" and she really needed to use the restroom, but was afraid she would loose her place in line.
(She thought this was better than telling them she needed to go get her mask...I'm not sure why..but anywayssss)
The guy she was talking to stared at her for a few seconds without saying anything then he looked down at his badge and back at her and finally said, "Ohhh...I'm sorry. Uh, you see, I'm not a staff member...This is a VIP badge."

I'm pretty sure she died a little bit on the inside. And, I'm pretty sure she didn't respond either. She just walked back to us, all pale-faced and told us what happened.
Although she was super embarrassed, the rest of us thought it was hilarious.
Moral of the story? Don't forget your mask.
